Quail Hunt

Late January Quail Hunt

Saturday we took the dogs out for one of the last hunts of the year. We got into a few coveys of quail and managed to take five birds in the desert. Also got into two coveys of chukars, but they flushed a few hundred yards before we got to them. Odessa and Rebel hunted great together, going back out Sunday for the last day of the year.

Last weekend we did a couple short quail hunts in the morning. Dogs did great and we managed to take a couple quail and the kids got some rabbits.

Few more pictures from the last days of pheasant hunting. The last few weekends we have hunted quail and found a few nice coveys and taken a few. Didn't have the camera so no pictures.

Last Days of Pheasant Hunting

Last weekend of pheasant hunting and it was pretty tough. Erin and I put on a lot of miles and ended up getting one pheasant each and a drake mallard.
